Q. Hi Steve, we heard the great news that ST BlowMoulding opened a new subsidiary in USA!

A. Right! ST “American dream” formally began in October and ST BlowMoulding USA is now fully operational with HQ in Norwalk, Ohio.

Q. Why did ST BlowMoulding decide to open its new subsidiary in USA?

A. Technical Assistance and After-sales service are generally key assets for all the customers in America. ST has many existing clients in the North America area. Our new branch in USA enhances our presence in the area and guarantees a time effective response to customers’ needs.

Q. What kind of services does ST USA offer to its local customers?

A. First, with a local presence, we can guarantee prompt assistance to customers on site by dealing with all emergencies and savinga lot of time. Moreover, we can schedule regular maintenance interventions reducing the risk of sudden failures and thus ensuring top machines performance.

Q. Can you also offer retrofitservices?

A. Yes, we can provide tailor-made retrofits in our dedicated workshop. We can meet all customers’ needs by doing electronic retrofits, from the replacement of the control system to the compliance of theold machines with the most recent safety standards; complete machine upgrade, hardware retrofit etc. We can perform them both on our machines and on competitors’ machines.

Q. Is there a spare parts warehouse on site?

A. Yes, there is. We have a warehouse of 15,000 square feet with the main components necessary to cover our machine range. In this way we can ensure quick shipments on the local market.

Q. How will the ST USA team be staffed?

A. The US team will be made up of service technicians and engineers, including one from HQ in Europe, administration and on-line customer service personnel.

Q. So does ST claim “Moving forward by your side” perfectly represent the corporate image?
