Accumulator head machines - AX Series

The maximum energy efficiency according to Euromap 46.1 is now outclassed.

The new all-electric clamping unit further improves the great efficiency of all ST BlowMoulding machines with adiabatic extruders. A small servomotor is enough to generate up to 2000 kN clamping force through the toggle.

The clamping force is electronically tuned at every cycle to ensure the maximum repeatability in any condition.

No concern about moulds with different stack height: the clamping unit is widely adjustable to the mould thickness.

The ER version of the new AX Series makes fast and simple the simultaneous changeover of the head tooling and of the mould.

The upper deck moves sideways to clear the area above the clamping unit for the mould change and brings the extrusion head in a convenient position for the head-tooling change.

A special cart makes the access to the extrusion head even easier and safer, and the revolutionary Automatic Head-tooling Changeover (AHC) eliminates any human handling of the head tooling.

Production changeovers have never been so fast, effortless and safe!
